Check out this kickass time-lapse video I made of Zoey (OMG, was it a pain in the butt to make!!)

AGGGHHHH, what happened this year?!! I was looking through my pictures yesterday and I came across this one and I realized it was ONLY like eight months ago and holy crap, Zoey looks sooooo much littler than she does now.

BlinkbuggyPic2Compressed

How is it possible to age that much in like eight months? Yes, it’s kind of a stupid question since I wake up every morning and I’m like how the hell do I look ten years older than I did when I went to bed last night. But I digress. Anyways, I can’t believe how fast she’s growing. Wahhh, it totally makes me want another baby. But not really.

Anyways, speaking of kids aging, have you guys seen those totally kickass time-lapse videos that parents have been making of their rugrats? I saw this awesome one the other day where this dad took video clips of his baby throughout the first year of his life and then he edited them together to make this awesome video. I soooo want one of those videos, so I tried to do it myself. See?

It took me like a million hours and I feel like there are chunks missing where all of the sudden her hair is longer, but at least I have a time-lapse video now. Kinda sorta. Okay, fine, so Zoey got a half-assed video, but Holden’s going to get a total full-assed one.

Because there’s this totally kickass new app from my friends at Blinkbuggy. It is soooooo F’ing cool. The app reminds you once a week to take a little video of your kiddo and not only does it store the videos for you, but it also puts together the first three seconds of all your videos to make a kickass time-lapse video like the one I saw on YouTube (NOT like the crappy one I made). Soooo easy!!!

The app isn’t out until this summer, but they’re offering a sneak peak to my readers this May. Yayyyyy!!! I’m totally gonna sign up so I can do it before Holden gets old like his sister.

Awww shit, I just blinked and he went from this:

HURRY UP, BLINKBUGGY!!!!!!!! WE CAN’T WAIT ANYMORE!!!!!!!

Just kidding. That’s really my grandpa, but that’s beside the point. The point is that since you read my blog, you are special too and can get the Blinkbuggy app early. Yayyyy!! And then we can compare our kickass time-lapse videos and cry over them together because our babies are getting so old and wahhhhh, I’m just going to keep pressing down on my kiddo’s head and maybe then he won’t get any bigger.

Here’s where you can sign up to be on the special Blinkbuggy red carpet list and get this kickass app earlier than everyone else. Not that I’m a pusher, but dooooo it. It’s gonna be sooo fun!

If you like this post, don’t forget to “like” it, pleeeeease.

In case you’re wondering, this post was sponsored by Blinkbuggy but you know there’s no way in hell I would ever sponsor a product I didn’t believe in. So yeah, I think Blinkbuggy and their new time-lapse app kick ass. Ruh-roh, am I allowed to say ass in a sponsored post?

Thank you for this! I sooo want to do it. My daughter just turned 10 months and I’m already like “how is she 10 months already???”

By the way, I LOVE your blog!

I loved watching your video and now I’m crying. My oldest is finishing her first year of college and my twins are 13. It seems like four minutes since they were born.

Brilliant film! I wish camera phones were around when my 2 were little as I totally would have done this for both my girls……who am I trying to kid, my youngest’s baby book was filled in when she was 3 after she saw her sisters book, hey at least we brought the book! They are now 16&12 this year and I haven’t written anything in them since youngest was 3. I should get them updated by the time youngest leaves UNI so that still gives me 10 years…..I’ll do it later lol

My husband made me a video for Christmas last year of just the first month of my son’s life…I bawled. We took a lot of videos of him…first born syndrome. But I love just what you did with the video’s of Zoey. I am gonna have him do this from my son’s first 3 years and my daughter’s first….so cute!

The video is so cute! BTW you look amazing in the video of you and the kiddos in the hospital after having your son. That does not look like a woman who just gave birth. Kuddos to you! 🙂
